Macbook Air's battery life

In my tests, the Air lasted an amazing 10 hours and 14 minutes, the longest any single-battery laptop...That compares with the last MacBook Air test I performed, which yielded a result of 6 hours and 13 minutes,

As I mentioned pre-WWDC' 13, if Windows laptops can give more than six hours of battery life, how much can an Apple laptop give, now we have the answer from a variety of reviews, anywhere from 10 hours to 13 hours to even 14 hours. Now lets see how much battery life Macbooks can give with Mac OS X mavericks, with all its power saving features.

Another point that Walt points out is that, laptops now have the same battery life as tablets (ok now compare iPad to Macbooks and Windows laptops to Android tablets, then you are comparing apples to apples, get it?). Will this change the user preference and will the usage pattern change? It certainly will be a very interesting rest of the year for Apple, with lot of interesting products expected, including new Macbook Pros.

The previous-generation 13-inch Air ran for 7 hours and 27 minutes in our video playback battery drain test. The 2013 version blows that out of the water, with an astonishing 14 hours and 25 minutes.
